Street Sweeping During the months of October and November, the Department of Public Services requests that, if possible, you try and keep your cars off the street and not place your trash in the street on trash day while we attempt to sweep the streets and leaves. With the volume of leaves we cannot stay on a per area schedule. Normally by the first week of December we make our last round through the four trash day areas. Your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated. Also, as a reminder, it is a violation of local ordinance to rake or blow leaves or debris into the streets. You could be issued a violation for this. If you have any questions or comments, please email rlang@cityofallenpark.org or phone 313-928-0550. Thank you from the Department of Public Service!! Snow Plowing With winter fast approaching, we ask that when we have a snow accumulation of 3" or more that you remove your cars from the streets so we can do a better job clearing snow from the roads. This makes for a safer street for all of our residents to travel during the winter months. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
