Allen Park Fitness Center (New Equipment, Hours & Fees Effective 9-1-08)
General Information:
•The Fitness Center is located on the 2nd level of the Allen Park Community Center, 15800 White Street.(both stair and elevator access are available).
•Fitness Center contains Weight/Fitness Area and Walking Track
•Fitness Center is for Allen Park Residents Only (Must prove residency)
•Participants must be 14 years and older
•Membership/Daily Pass is required for access
•Membership card/Pass MUST be presented to enter
•Changing areas are available in bathrooms located on main floor near gymnasium
•Each restroom upstairs contains a shower
Facility Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (September 1st to April 30th)
12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. (May 1st to August 31st)
Weight/Fitness Area:
•19 cardiovascular machines including elliptical trainers, cross trainers, treadmills, recumbent bikes and stair climber
•7 individual weight training machines
•Olympic tower weight training system
•Free Weights
•E-Z curl bars
Walking Track:
•Three Lanes
•Special cushioned surface
•13 laps per mile
•Running/Jogging is not permitted
Fee Schedule:
Resident Family 2 to 4 members $180/year (Immediate Family living in same household)
Additional family member $25/year
Single Resident $100/year
Senior Citizen (62 Years and Older)
Senior Couple $80/year
Single Senior $50/year
Daily Pass (Allen Park Residents Only) $4/day
Guest Pass (Accompanied by AP Resident) $5/day
Membership Card Replacement Fee $5

Youth Athletics: Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, and Inline Hockey.
Adult Athletics: Softball, Volleyball, Basketball and Inline Hockey.
Variety of youth and adult leisure / enrichment classes: Ice-skating, Karate, Dance classes, Gymnastics, Stained Glass, Financial Planning, Helping to buy a Home, Dog Obedience, Crafts Classes and more.
Special Events includes Lock Ins, Mother and Son Dances, Father and Daughter Dances, Nursery Olympics, Lunch with Santa, Dance Recitals and more.
Obtain permits for Inline Hockey rinks and Softball / Baseball fields.
